chippewafalls asked: Mhm. I haven't seen Avatar, but I'm confident that Inception is much better. I refuse to see it on principle, which I realise is sort of stupid, but I still don't want to waste my time with it. Especially when there are so many other films I'd rather be watching. My dad watched it the other day and hearing some of it from the other room was enough haha.

Happy New Years Eve...
…I guess. I’ll be spending the transition into the new year cleaning up popcorn and Coke and lots of lovely other concession items that people like to ingrain into the carpets at Cinemark.
But for everyone else: have a good 2011.

chippewafalls asked: Sorry, I didn't realise you replied to my other Inception thing.
Anyway, I agree about the special effects. I really respect Nolan for not using CGI and keeping it as real as possible. And I see what you're saying about the story, but I don't know...the fact that people consider it totally revolutionary when the originality doesn't go beyond the plot and specific...

chippewafalls asked: I didn't like Slacker as much as Waking Life or Dazed and Confused, but it's worth watching.
I did see Inception. Twice. I don't know. I liked it, but I didn't love it. It's not really my style and I think the more I talk about/hear people talk about it, the less I like it, because I think it's become really overrated. That said, there's no denying that it...

I really want to see Waking Life! I think you’d love Linklater’s Before Sunrise and Before Sunset.
I’m adding both to my list! I’ve heard quite a few good things about Waking Life, and Before Sunrise and Before Sunset both look really...

chippewafalls asked: Don't really know why I asked that anonymously...but anyway,
- Same, I think I've actually done it but only for a few seconds because I realised I was dreaming and that ruins it.
- I like it, but I know a lot of people don't. It's confusing to the point of being sort of overwhelming and also there's no plot. If you like Linklater's other films...

I’d rather not have my blog turn into one big ad for Marlboro so unless you people have some new questions to bring to the table please disregard my ask box. I like getting questions, but I really don’t like getting the same sort of question over and over and over. You reblog one picture of James Franco smoking and everyone thinks you’re a nicotine-addict…
If you...

Went to see TRUE GRIT ( brilliant film,go see it) and as the movie was ending some stupid girl said, ” Worst Movie Ever, how can you go from Saving Private Ryan to this?” Um ,apparently by splitting yourself into two individuals and calling yourselves the Coen brothers.
